It happens here: Consumer-centric Innovation in Charlotte and beyond

About

Innovation happens everywhere, and I’ve been investigating what it means for Charlotte, NC.  How does it drive Charlotte’s economy and what are the most interesting pockets of opportunity for the future of the city?

I’m most interested in tapping into consumer behavior and identifying user needs, and demonstrating how companies can use this information to create innovative products and services.

I found you via the WFAE site. The Ben Craig Center is working on a variety of efforts related to the Charlotte region’s entrepreneurship and innovation “ecosystem”. There are lots of good efforts in the region. We are finding that there is considerable interest in strengthening the region’s capability to innovate and to create significant new ventures. I am interested in what you are learning and your perspectives on the topic. (And, it is great to see this being done by a fellow Georgia Tech grad!)

Sounds like a cool way to spend your summer. You may be interested in attending one or both of these events! http://readyfounder.com/escapefromcubiclenation.htm

I would like to see you there and hear what you have learned thus far.

Thanks for the note…Unfortunately I was out of town for the event. Sounds like it will be a big hit! Curious to see any local reviews.

I’ve enjoyed your blog. Did you get to the IEI forum on creativity in Raleigh? Provided lots to ponder on…all connected to the theme of your blog.

Are you still with Duke? Send me an email and let me know how it’s going.
thanks
Monty
